I was able to return to my alma mater this time to lead a workshop at PearlHacks which is also the first Hackathon I ever participated in and won 1st place overall! As such this hackathon is very special to me in addition to being one of the largest female + non-binary hackathons on the East coast. It was such an incredible experience to be able to return, this time as a workshop leader!

I gave a career workshop aimed at helping students transition into professional working life in tech. I covered everything from resume and job application tips, down to how to create a good business card. With around 50 participants I was really excited that everyone seemed to be very engaged with a lively Q&A session at the end. Attendees asked several follow-up questions and I even got to connect with some of the attendees afterwards!
